Please continue writing letters of objection to local politicians at addresses here...

Our Objectives

To Oppose :-
  1. The unnecessary development of over 120 houses on the 1st and 18th holes of Churston Golf Club, adjoining the Dartmouth Road, which will have a severely detrimental effect on the lives of local residents.
  2. The construction of a new large clubhouse and car park on green fields near Churston Village, in a designated area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, creating an horrendous eyesore and destroying the natural beauty and tranquillity of the area.

The residents of Churston, Galmpton, Broadsands, Brixham and beyond are vehemently opposed to these proposals, which are being driven forward by the selfish motives of a few hundred members of Churston Golf Club.

If the development is allowed to go ahead it will create problems with access to the clubhouse along country lanes, increased traffic, schooling availability, NHS services, erosion of green areas, and many more. Effectively, the interests of Churston Golf Club will take priority over the interests of the overwhelming majority of local residents.
